I’ve been meaning to comment on this post, and then saw this post this morning, linked from my favorite blog, http://www.moneysavingmom.com:

Anyway, I had been wanting to share that I’ve just gotten into planning too, in the last few weeks. I guess after two years at home, it’s about time? It really has helped me feel more calm and centered to have a good idea of what I’m making every day, and knowing that I have the materials at hand, since I’m now shopping with even more of a purpose.

I’m also working on stocking my freezer with ready to eat meals, when I double of up on recipes or freeze half of what my small family didn’t finish. That way those “who knows” days or “don’t feel like cooking” weekend evenings, I can grab something out of the freezer instead of eating out. (Not that you’re in the season to be freezing ahead! – but eventually…)

    Loving your updates, as always!
