New templates a la Nicole LeBlanc
I love templates. I really do. Even if my layout ends up looking like the template I started with, templates getting my creative juices flowing. Just this week, PxlCafe has added some templates created by Nicole LeBlanc. They are brand spankin’ new and totally awesome. I loved, loved creating with these. Here’s a look at some of the layouts I created with Nicole’s fabulous templates. You can get the templates and all the supplies (papers, embellishments, etc) over at PxlCafe.
For this page (above) I used the kit “Butterfly Kisses” and it’s all about Shelby’s birthday lunch. We made a reservation at Ariel’s Grotto inside Disney’s California Adventure … and had lunch with ALL the Disney princess. Shelby was in heaven. It was so cute to watch her when she met all the different princesses and then have her share her opinion on who she liked the best.
This page was created with the “Let’s Celebrate” kit. The week before Shelby’s “real” birthday, she and Cooper had a party in the park. It was mostly a party for Shelby since she has a whole bunch of friends. But we did fete both kiddos. I can’t believe that my baby girl is seven. Time really is just flying by.
This last layout was created using the “Ticket to Ride” kit. The photo is of me at the go-kart track near our house and was for one of my weekly self-portraits. I love the way this page turned out, even though it’s very different than most of the pages I create.
I can’t wait to make some more pages with Nicole’s templates … I feel like I’m sitting at the feet of a master and it’s such an honor to be on the same creative team as her and all the talented ladies on the PxlCafe team.
