52 Weeks of ME

I made a goal last year of taking a self portrait each week. 52 Weeks. 52 Photos. How did I do? Splendid, if I do say so myself. Check this out:
I have loved this project so much, I’m going to do it again in 2012. There is something so powerful about focusing on yourself, even if it’s just for a few seconds to snap a photo. I spend a lot of time taking care of other people. I spend a lot of time worrying about other people’s stuff. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with taking some time to take care of me. Plus, as an added bonus, many years from now I’m sure my children will appreciate these photos of me, since (as the primary family photographer) I’m often missing in the gazillion photos we take each year.

This is such a great idea and such a treasure Kimberly I love seeing all these photos.

Have to think about this, maybe I can do this too, LOL. Another project for 2012!!

    Thanks for inspiring me!!

  2. Miranda you totally should — it was actually quite easy, but I also gave myself a lot of slack when it came to it. I didn’t care if I used my phone and I didn’t do anything elaborate. Just a picture a week. It also made me scrap myself a lot more, which was an added bonus.
