Project Life: Sometimes simple is good

I have a tendency to make even the simplest things, like Project Life, hard. I like to jazz things up and then before I know it I’m hopelessly behind and frustrated.

This week I told myself sometimes simple is good. I tried to stick mostly with the Seafoam Core kit and minimal embellishments. I have to say, doing this did make things easier and I love my pages just as much as any other week.

Sticking with simple made things go faster for sure. I was really chugging along. and then I got sidetracked by something else (it was shiny and new) and didn’t end up finishing my pages until last night. But it wasn’t because I was tinkering with the pages, I just set them aside for something else.

Anyway, I totally enjoyed this week’s pages and the process. It was easy and simple. And like I said, sometimes easy is good.

Here are my pages for Week 9 (February 24 to March 2, 2013):

Are you doing Project Life in 2013? What do you love most about it? What’s the hardest part of the project for you? This week I linked up with The Mom Creative, a site filled with great Project Life inspiration.

  2. Wonderful blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News. Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Thank you
