{Health} #FitTeaDetox: Shedding the final pounds

FitTea | Kimberly Kalil DesignsThank you Markerly for sponsoring this FitTea post. I was paid for my time, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

If you read my blog, then you know I've spent the last few months chasing better health. I've been exercising daily (#mileaday). I've been eating better (hello protein, goodbye gluten). I've even been trying to get more sleep (not the easiest endeavor this night owl). So, when I was given the opportunity to try FitTea, I jumped at the chance.

FitTea boasts, "Give us a few weeks and we'll give you a new waistline." I'd already lost almost 15 pounds, but I'd pretty much stalled a few pounds short of my goal. I was desperate to lose the last few, stubborn pounds. It's beyond frustrating not to see progress when you're working so hard (hello miles and miles in my running shoes)

I'm generally willing to try anything and something that might help me out of my slump and shed the last few pounds seemed heaven sent. FitTea is all-natural (awesome) and gives you energy (yes please); boosts your metabolism (sign me up); aids in digestive health (did someone tell them I needed this, 'cause I do); and boosts fat-loss naturally in problem areas (that would be my belly). So I followed the instruction on the bag of loose tea and hoped for the best.

For starters, let's talk taste. This might just be my favorite tasting tea. Health and fat loss aside, I was thrilled with the taste of FitTea. I added a teaspoon of organic honey and enjoyed a cup first thing each morning. The all-natural mixture – Organic Green Tea, Oolong Wu Yi, Organic Rooibos, Ginger, Pomegranate, Guarana, Birch, Stevia, Corn and Honey Powder – is so yummy. It gave me a little kick in the pants as I started my day and really got me started .

According to research, these ingredients provide a fast-working and natural detox. Beside detox, this combination of ingredients is known to aid in weight loss, increased energy levels, suppressing the appetite, and natural antioxidants. From my personal experience, I totally felt an increase in my energy and my appetite was suppressed. I lost two pounds, which might not seem awesome, but that's what I was trying to lose. I can't say for certain it was the tea, since I am running daily and eating a pretty clean diet. But what can tell you is I felt brighter. My tummy is flatter. My digestive system is more regular than it's been in a long time (it did indeed clean out my bowels. Sorry, TMI ... right?).

I'm going to keep using FitTea, even though I'm all done with this promotion. I love the tea that much. Its fresh, bright taste is an awesome alternative to coffee, which I've never liked.  It's gonna be a part of my daily routine for the foreseeable future.

Give it a try, it's a great addition to healthy + fit lifestyle.
