Busy, busy me

I am having a CRAZY month. A lot of work, which has been traveling to Atlanta and Washington DC pretty much every week. I went to Atlanta this week for some training, but with the holiday and a doctor's appointment, I was only there for two nights! I love short trips like that, but it does take a lot out of me. It's exhausting to pack, fly, work, re-pack and fly again ... all in the course of about 48 hours.

But I am grateful to be home today so I could visit my doctor (my headaches are back and he had to check my head wound, which is whole different story) and spend time with my babies. We had a fro-yo date when Coop and I picked Shelby up from school. And between appointments, laundry, conference calls and snuggling Cooper I have been able to catch up on some scrapbooking pages I started over the last few weeks, but never finished. Here's a look at what I've been working on.

The layout above is one I'd like to do a few times a year to document what Shelby is like at that very moment. I think it will be cool to look back at these layouts years from now and see how she's changed. I'm planning on doing the same for Cooper.

And this layout is part of Ali Edward's One Little Word class at Big Picture Classes. It's a year long class, with a single prompt each month. It's designed to help the students keep their "word" present and working in their lives all year long. As I mentioned before, my word for 2011 is healthy. I'm actually doing really well with my word. I've been doing a lot of things to feel healthy in a mental, emotional and spiritual way. Now I just have to get going on the physical side of things!!
