52 Photos, 52 Weeks

Week 14, Stripes:

The prompt for week 14 was stripes. So far, this is my least favorite photo. I had a hard time finding something with stripes that I wanted to take a picture of. I make a point of not looking at the 52 Weeks, 52 Photos gallery until I've already taken my photo for the week ... this way I won't be influenced by what everyone else is doing. I want my weekly picture to be all my own. So, once I took this photo ... I looked at the gallery .And there I saw some really awesome photos, particularly one of an American flag. And I felt so dumb. I mean come on? Why hadn't I thought of that. But never once did I think of a flag when I was trying to come up with something for "stripe." Just goes to show you how one word can mean so many things each person.

Week 15, Me:

The prompt for week 15 was "me." This one came easy for me, especially since I'm also doing the 52 Week (Self Portrait) Project. I'm getting more used to taking pictures of myself and I'm sure that after this year, I'll e grateful I've documented so much about myself ... more than I ever have before. I also love that Shelby is in this photo. She is very much a mini version of me. And she makes up such a huge part of who I am. Me today wouldn't be me without her .

Week 17, Play:

Week 17 was another easy one for me ... play. I have lots of photos to choose from, but this one is my favorite. It's Shelby playing on Gracie and Emma's trampoline while we were in Palmdale for a visit. She was still in her pajamas even though it was about 2 in the afternoon. Those girls had the best time together.

As you can see, I'm missing week 16. I haven't taken it yet. The prompt is open and I've yet to find something that really inspires me. I want it to be REALLY good, so I'm letting it sit until I figure out what I want to do with "open." These photos are part of the 52 Photos, 52 Week Challenge I'm participating in.
