Reframing the Season

Earlier this evening, I was taking photos around the house, trying to decide what I was going to do for today's prompt. I sat my camera down and a few minutes later caught my 7-year-old (Shelby) taking photos of the Christmas tree. She was super serious; thinking about each shot; and loving looking at each of her photos. I snapped some photos of her at work. It made me think: I want to see Christmas through her eyes this year, I want to reframe the season from her perspective. I get too stressed. I get frazzled. I forget to find joy in the little, but precious moments. This year, I'd like thinks things to be different. I want to enjoy this time and savor this time with my family, especially my young children.
