New layout, New product: Two Peas

For as unmotivated as I’ve been for the last few weeks, I’ve managed to get quite a few scrapbook pages completed. I guess deadlines and team requirements help motivate me when nothing else will. Here’s a new layout I created for Two Peas in a Bucket. I used the latest kit from Jen Martakis, She Said. It’s the perfect little girl kit and it was just right for a photo I had of Shelby and her cousin Savannah. I’m going through a scrappy phase right now where I want to use a lot of patterns … the more the better. This page is the perfect example of trying to use as many patterns a possible. What do you think?

Journaling reads:

I love how much these two girls love each other. Since they live in different states, they don't get to see each other all the time, but that doesn’t slow them down. They always pick up right where they left off. Cousins make the very best friends.

Also, Baers Garten announced that her designs will now be available at Two Peas in a Bucket. As part of her debut, she re-released a 4th of July-themed kit, American Summer. Here’s a layout I had created for her (Iara) when I first joined her creative team.  Can you believe how little Coop looks in this photo? It was taken on the 4th of July weekend back in 2010 … two years seems like a very long time.

Fourth of July Weekend, 2010 We didn't do a lot. Nothing special. We spent time together. Went hiking at Mt. Lemmon. Grilled and ate corn on the cob. And even though we didn't do anything super exciting, it was a good holiday.
