Free Journaling Cards: Tis the Season

Holy moly, just 15 days until Christmas! Are you ready? I’ll tell you a little secret. I tend to be a bit obsessive compulsive. I try to think of it as a good thing, though at times my husband might disagree! When it comes to Christmas, I’m really uptight. Since there is so much to do, I can quickly get overwhelmed. And that leads to a very cranky Kimberly.

With that in mind, I try to start all Christmas preparations early. I’m done with all my shopping … actually I was pretty much done in November. Cards are done and just need to be mailed. All the gifts are wrapped and under the tree. Meals for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are already planned and family assignments made. See … I’m a little uptight. But, it helps me not freak out and instead just enjoying the season. And this year I’ve really be enjoying it.

For the first time ever, I’m creating a December Daily album (a la Ali Edwards). At the last minute, I decided to play along and create a physical mini book rather than a digital version. I’ve actually been totally loving the process of playing with paper and glue, which isn’t normally something I like (hence the switch to all things digital). Anyway, I’ve been soaking up and loving all the Christmas fun: the goodies I’ve been creating; the festive adventures we’ve been taking; the singing Cooper has been doing; and even the constant begging for hints from Shelby (she desperately wants to know if Santa or Mom and Dad will be giving her an American Girl doll).

As I was creating this week’s printable, I was struck by how much more I love Christmas now that I have kids. Their love of the holiday season is contagious. So I created some more printable journaling cards celebrating this wonderful time of the year, because I love it more this year than I ever have … and I just couldn’t help myself.
