Hello! Happy February. I seriously can't believe it's already February. Shelby and Cooper are so excited for February. Both of them tell me that Valentine's Day is their favorite holiday, so we're gearing up for lots of V-Day fun around our house. Today I have a new layout to share, one I created for Simple Scrapper. It's inspired by a February Story Starter and uses one of the February premium templates. It's really a love letter to Shelby and who she is right now. She's growing and changing so fast, and I really want to be able to capture the essence of what she's like, because before I know it she's going to be headed off to college and starting a life of her own.
On a random note, the shadow photo of Shelby and Cooper holding hands might just be my favorite. We were leaving the movie theater and as we walked to the car she took his hand. They were chattering about the movie, smiling at each other and generally loving each other. It makes my heart sing to see them together. If I could bottle up their mutual adoration and save it forever, I would.
Nine things I love about my sweet Shelby Rose at 9-years-old ...
1. Your smile.
2. Your love of art.
3. Your deep connection with your brother.
4. Your goofiness
5. Your commitment to Girl Scouts.
6. Your free spirit and joy of exploration.
7. Your love of books.
8. Your loyalty to friends.
9. Your “disgust” of boys, unlike some of your boy-crazy friends.
