Hello there. Happy Monday. Today I'm in the Pacific Northwest doing some work at the Bellingham, WA newspaper. My kiddos, of course, are at home ... in school. So, in their honor, I have a school-themed layout (created for Simple Scrapper) to share with ya today. I took the photos from this year's first day of school and created a layout featuring both kiddos. I used bright, neon colors along with a "chalkboard" background to make it both unisex and school-ish. I totally love the happy look of this page, since it captures the happiness both kids were feeling about going back to school.
Journaling reads: Another summer comes to a close and it’s back to school for the Kalil kiddos. This is kind of a big year, since Cooper started kindergarten and Shelby is going into 5th grade. I’m still not sure how the suddenly got this big! They are going to the same school this year – woo hoo for easy drop off – and are in Jackie and Mrs. Chris’ classes, Coop and Shelby respectively. Both love their teachers – so far – and we’re hoping for an awesome, productive year. We’re happy to be with our Satori Family for another year and are so blessed to have such an awesome school.
