Hello. We're enjoying Winter Break at our house, which means no school, sleeping in, and fun trips around town and Arizona (we're headed to Flagstaff soon!). But, I wanted to pop in quickly and share a new layout I created using a template for Simple Scrapper using a premium template from the January 2015 collection. Twenty fifteen. Can you believe that? We're just a few days from a new year. I'm ready for a new year and a clean start. I really love resetting and refocusing. I have a lot of big plans for 2015, and I'm ready to get going. What about you? Anyway. Here's a layout all about me. I lifted the journaling from a Facebook status update. And the photo was one I snapped when I was headed to work in November. I decided to use bright colors to offset the black and white photo. Also, I rotated to the template to make the paper pieces look like arrows pointing down toward my face and the journaling.
“It’s all beautiful, even the sad stuff.” I'm sitting, waiting to board a plane to work. Until Thursday, I thought I wouldn't be traveling for business again this month. I was a little bummed. I can't change it, but I CAN take an inventory of all the things I'm grateful for. I'm grateful for a job/career that provides regular adventure and challenges me. I'm blessed with a hard working husband who makes me laugh, all the time. I'm grateful for in-laws who regularly help with my kiddos and love them with all their hearts. I'm grateful we have Miss Kimberley in our lives. She brings so much joy to our children and provides oodles of help to our family. I'm grateful for local friends who step in and shower Shelby with love, support and special experiences. I'm grateful for Shelby's creativity and compassion, she cares so much, for so many people. I'm grateful for Cooper's ability to adapt to pretty much anything and do it with a smile. What you focus on expands, and this is what I choose to focus on.
