It's beginning to feel a lot like Halloween!

After we got back from Apple Annie's, Mike and Shelby went to town decorating all of our pumpkins. I got out a bunch of my paint supplies and they drew faces on the pumpkins. Shelby drew her own faces this year, and they look like actual faces ... not just a bunch of scribbles! What a difference a year makes (on a side note, Shelby is quite the little artist. She loves to draw, paint and craft). They also painted some scary pictures (scary by Shelby's standards!).

While they did all the painting, I decorated the house with a variety of fall and Halloween themed items. It's definitely beginning to look like fall around our house. It helps that I've been burning a pumpkin scented candle and baked banana bread as well.
