A Trip to Santa Fe

All four kiddos ...

While at my sister's house we decided to take the kids and visit Santa Fe. I've never been there, so we thought it would be a fun little day trip. It was cold while we were there. Stinkin' cold. Snow on the ground cold. We hadn't expected such cold weather, so we weren't prepared. But that didn't stop us. We bundled up as best we could and headed north.

The kids didn't care that it was 30 degrees out. And they had a blast. Santa Fe is know for all its art and there were all sorts of sculptures around town. Each one we saw, the kids would climb up, pose, make silly faces. Again, they didn't mind the weather one bit.

We had lunch at Cowgirl BBQ. We tried to find a place that had been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives ... but after driving up and down the same street for way too long we gave up. We stumbled on Cowgirl BBQ and it turned out to be a great choice. The food was good and the place was loud (perfect with four small kids).
