{Simple Scrapper} Hello Fifth Grade

Hello. Happy, happy Monday. We had the best weekend ever. We went on a little adventure to San Diego and had lots of awesome family time, but more about that in a later post.

I have a new layout to share with you. It's sort of a companion layout to the Back to School layout I shared a few weeks ago. That layout was of Cooper and Shelby on their first day of school. This one is all about Shelby and how excited she was to see her friends when she went back to school. At 10 years old, Shelby is totally into her friends and was thrilled to go back to school and see her besties.

I used a premium template from Simple Scrapper (September 2014) and the same digital scrapbooking kit (Rock, Paper Scissors) that I used on the earlier Back-to-School layout. I love the chalkboard background paper ... so appropriate for Back-to-School pages.

Journaling reads:

When it was time to go back to school this year, you weren’t all that excited about school. School, homework, all that stuff ... not really your “thing.” But friends? That’s what you love most about school ...  Daily interaction with your buddies is really what you missed most over summer vacation. They’re why you’re happy school is back in session.
